About Robyn (owner)
Hi, I’m Robyn Doolan.
I have lived and worked with animals all my life. I was brought up on a stud farm which specialised in baroque horse breeds and several different breeds of dogs – in particular, German Shepherds. Most of our dogs were successful show dogs, obedience dogs and tracking and trailing dogs from an early age.
I was part of the Asoka display team, performing in shows around the country alongside the Horseman of the Apocalypse and The Portuguese school of Equestrian Art, and amongst others.
My family has a sheep farm where I spend a lot of my time helping out as well as working with the sheep. I help train our large team of sheepdogs, and also compete with our dogs in sheepdog trials. Because we also use our horses alongside the dogs when we are moving sheep to fresh grazing, things can get very busy between caring for sheep, dogs and horses, but I feel very privileged having all these wonderful animals in my life. I’m so passionate about dogs and all that is included with their care, training and welfare.
Now is the right time to fulfil my ambition and follow my dreams by running my own dog walking, training & microchipping business – to eventually progress with other parts of the animal world – and so Robyn’s K9 Rambles was born!
